How does DTS compare to other projects?
Well first, DTS is young, uses pretty modern technology
which will make it worse in the beginning and hopefully
as good as others in it's later life. Ok now for some facts.
Using extreme locations like Thule and Scott Base we can
provide for observations round the clock (as weather permits)
during summer and winter. We plan to make our results available
free of charge and we want to give amateur astronomers opportunity
to schedule "their" favourite objects. We can steer the scopes at
pretty high velocities (it was possible for us to gain
image streams of STS 98/ISS during February 2001).
